CODE OF CONDUCT

Legends Football Club expects all Members of the club (Committee, Coaches, Managers, Players, etc) to always abide by the Code of Conduct.

Players Code of Conduct

  • Play by the rules.
  • Never argue with an official
  • Control your temper. Swearing, verbal and physical abuse is not tolerated.
  • Work equally hard for yourself and your team. Your team’s performance will benefit and so will you.
  • Be a good sport, applaud all players whether they are your team or the opposition.
  • Treat all players as you would like to be treated. Do not interfere with, bully, harass or take unfair advantage of another player. This extends to social networking sites such as Facebook and other online forums.
  • Have respect for, and co-operate with your coaches, teammates, opponents, and club officials.
  • Play for your own enjoyment and benefit, not just to please others.
  • Respect the rights of all other participants.
  • Respect club facilities which are provided for the enjoyment of all.
  • The inappropriate use of social media (Facebook, twitter, forums etc.) relating to the club, its members and other clubs / players will not be tolerated.
  • All social members fees need to be paid up to date, if a member is injured, please contact management and payments can be suspended if injury is long term.
  • If a FQPL player is injured either during social or FQ games extra FQ fees still need to be paid while the social side can be suspended until recovery has been made

Coaches & Officials Code of Conduct

  • Place the safety and welfare of the participants above all else.
  • Accept responsibility for all actions taken.
  • Be impartial and avoid any situation that may lead to a conflict of interest.
  • Be courteous, respectful, and open to discussion and interaction.
  • Value the individual in sport.
  • Encourage inclusively and access to all areas of officiating.
  • Be a positive role model in behaviour and personal appearance.
  • Do not harass players.
  • Show concern and caution towards sick and injured players.
  • Remember the primary objective is for you and the players to have fun and participate.
  • Coaches / Managers must not enter the field of play without consent of the referee.
  • Coaches / Managers must not speak to or approach a player from an opposition team (including in-house games).
  • The inappropriate use of social media (Facebook, twitter, forums, etc.) relating to the club, its members and other clubs / players will not be tolerated.
